Committed to making our album memorable, Vivek was the one who coaxed us into getting a pre wedding photoshoot, (we had no intentions) just so we had beautiful pictures to remember the day, and beautiful they were!. We were also very clear that we wanted candid, unfussed pictures which were organically taken. No unnecessary posing. Vivek and his team ensured they managed this by being non intrusive, yet being alert and always around to take all the shots we wanted, never missing a moment. When Rubina and Sabapathy connected with us and told their story, we were more than happy to photograph it. Rubina being a cancer patient , she is just a cracker. She is crazy , funny and most importantly imperfect which we just loved. Cancer is not a war. It’s not a battle to be won. Cancer is a disease that plays by its own rules and does not always respond the way it is supposed to. Rubina just didn’t show that life is about fighting the battles but it is also about living as well gentle positivity, setting short-term, achievable goals, and drawing on support from those closest to you.
